Personal Training- Corrective Exercise

HELPING YOU RECLAIM YOUR BODY

Corrective Exercise serves to teach clients HOW to move their bodies so that they can create the right balance of strength, stability, and mobility in order to be pain free. Most of us have aches, pains, and issues due to the fact that we were never taught the Best ways for our bodies to move, and therefore, and up injured or hurting. We focus on giving our clients all of the information and guidance they need to get and stay out of pain, while also teaching them how to trust their intuition and move in ways that feel Good to them.

We also implement some manual therapy as needed to help with certain imbalances that may be limiting our clients from their most optimal movement patterns. Manual Therapy has two main facets at EMTS: Structural and Energetic. The structural piece uses various hands-on techniques to address the physical body (musculoskeletal and nervous systems) to enhance recovery, regain range of motion, increase blood flow, and reduce pain. The energetic/intuitive piece involves working with the energy systems in the body, guided by intuitive nudges and sensations Lizzy receives during a session. Working both energetically and physically allows for the Entire Person to be met where they’re at and recieve a multilayered approach to healing.
